Biography Mr. Mori graduated from the Department of Earth Sciences, Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, where she was a member of the Geochemistry Laboratory. In the course of her research, she became interested in outreach and found employment at the Sapporo Science Museum for Youth. There she planned and managed exhibits, science classes, and special exhibitions. Later, at the Graduate School of Science, Hokkaido University, she conducted research on science museum exhibits as a place for science communication from the perspective of Family Learning. She completed the Science Communicators Training Program at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (Miraikan), and completed the 8th elective and training course at CoSTEP.
Her hobbies include collecting country sign magnets at roadside stations and creating a monthly display in her front window.
Introduction to Education and Practice She studies the museum as a place for science communication in the field.
She has been employed and then went to graduate school. She will use her experience to support students’ diverse learning.
