Biography | Dr. Motohira holds a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine and graduated from the Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine at Hokkaido University. He completed the 15th cohort of the CoSTEP program. Since his student days, he has been continuously involved in veterinary education and related activities in developing countries, including Mongolia. In his previous position, he worked as a faculty member in a student support department at Hokkaido University. He has held his current position since April 2025. Dr. Motohira was born and raised in Hokkaido and has a fondness for small animals. |

Introduction to Education and Practice | Dr.Motohira has been involved in educational activities for local students, veterinarians, and researchers in Mongolia to understand the reality of environmental and livestock contamination caused by chemical substances and to conduct impact assessments. In Sapporo, he organizes and implements public lectures in collaboration with Hokkaido University students, providing lectures on science and the environment for the local community. At CoSTEP, he will work with the participants to develop new educational methods. |
